The two-wire surveillance kit consists of a whisper palm microphone with self-contained button PTT switch and clothing clip. The wearer can use the system by raising the unit to the mouth via the palm of the hand to transmit whisper conversations. It can also be pinned to the back of a tie or business suit for transmission of the user's voice or to pick up nearby conversations. They can also be used with a wide variety of two-way radio systems.

In order to use the kit in a "wireless" design, you must remove the audio tubing and replace it with an induction loop and wireless earpiece known as a Private Ear™. This will send the radio transmission to the ear without any noticeable wires going to the ear. The advantages of ?hiding? your communications can be invaluable when approaching a suspect or maneuvering into position for an arrest.
