The use of our Standard-Fit SHS earpieces is mainly focused on tactical entry teams and officers looking to have hearing enhancement with protection in a wireless configuration. These systems can also be quickly rearranged to use the included audio tubing for hearing the radio transmissions without going wireless.

The visual look of the SHS unit(s) is similar to wearing a behind-the-ear hearing aid. It is very lightweight and can be concealed behind the ear especially if the user has longer hair.

We offer several surveillance systems from the fairly inexpensive to the fairly complex. All Standard-Fit SHS systems must be used in conjunction with a surveillance system and induction loop in order to work properly in a wireless design.

One-Wire Surveillance Systems (receive only) The one-wire surveillance kit consists of a single wire and earpiece. This system allows the user to receive transmissions coming from their radio in high noise environments, or commonly used as a surveillance earpiece where normal radio transmissions cannot be heard clearly. Two-Wire Surveillance Kit The two-wire surveillance kit consists of a whisper palm microphone with self-contained soft button PTT switch, removable clothing clip and earpiece. The wearer can use the system by raising the unit to the mouth via the palm of the hand to transmit whisper conversations. Three-Wire Surveillance Kit The three-wire surveillance kit consists of three modular components: a microphone, a PTT switch (various options available) and an earpiece.
