Designed to handle any situation, these Specialized Hearing Systems (SHS) combine the best in hearing enhancement technology and radio communications into a single "standard" behind-the-ear unit. It is the ideal system for SWAT tactical teams looking for comfort and convenience in one simple lightweight design.

Within each Tac SHS SWAT earpiece, the specialized circuitry brings louder sounds to a safe level while dramatically enhancing softer sounds. This creates a constant balance between amplification and safety while using them in tactical entry or first response requirements. During tense raids and forced entry events with flash bangs and/or tear gas, these units are considered the ultimate in earpiece design and performance.

Tac SHS II (Basic) - This analog unit is designed with an adjustable volume control only. This is a very good unit for those teams looking for a smaller electronic headset to connect with a throat-mic, shoulder-mic or surveillance system. Available in black, brown, and beige.

Tac SHS III (Advanced with "active telecoil") - This analog unit is programmed with digital software to give better sound clarity to the users outside environment, and two-way radio communication. This unit also features an integrated "active" telecoil which means the user does not have to manually switch from telecoil (radio) to outside enhancement while using in a wireless communication application. This unit is an excellent choice for those looking to use these units with wireless induction loop systems.. Available in black.

Tac SHS (Waterproof Hunter) - This completely waterproof unit is an analog unit with a manual telecoil. It was developed to help those search and rescue teams needing the waterproof asepcts and durability. Available in a black/tan shell.

Tac SHS IV (Ultimate) - This unit is completely digital and is the ultimate in clarity with zero percent distortion to the incoming surround enhanced environment. This unit also features a manual telecoil for use with wireless communications. Available in black, brown and beige.

(Note: Tac SHS II, SHS Waterproof and Tac SHS IV units will not transmit both surrounding enhancements and radio transmissions at the same time. Only one mode can actively be used at one time).
